The old town of Cehegín is one of the widest and interesting of Murcia, officially declared Historic-Artistic Site since1982 for its extraordinary beauty.

Full of palaces, churches and a great amount of monuments, the Mayor Street constitutes the centre of the old town linking the Castle Square with the city centre.

Narrow streets, steep slopes, stairs, arcades, mysterious passages, walls and old doors of the medieval place, surprise the traveller in every corner of the oldest and traditional Cehegín.

The house

La Casona de Don Santos is an old house settled in the centre of the old town of Cehegín and it has three floors. In the ground floor you will find the kitchen, a wide sitting room with chimney and a bathroom. In the first floor, two double rooms and a bathroom. Finally, on the second floor there is another double room and a sloping roof room full of great windows through which you can see wonderful views of Cehegín.
